We absolutely love Miss Rachel! She is personable, energetic, passionate about teaching, and patient. She does a great job keeping parents up to date on what is being taught and all the fun activities she is having with the kids. Can't recommend her enough!

We love Miss Rachel and Encourage Me Preschool! This year has been my daughters first experience with schooling, and she has loved every second of it!

I'm so grateful to Miss Rachel for creating such a positive and welcoming environment. She is so kind and nurturing to the kids, taking interest in their hobbies and really listening to what they have to say. If there are any concerns, she addresses them quickly and thoughtfully. Miss Rachel also makes learning time fun with hands-on activities, songs that my daughter enjoys singing at home, and free play to encourage creativity and social interaction. She occasionally organizes fun field trips and class parties.

You can tell Miss Rachel really loves her students by how she goes the extra mile. A few times when my daughter wasn't feeling well and had to miss class, she created a video of what the kids learned that day, so my daughter wouldn't miss out. She's also stopped by (with permission, of course) with a bag full of activities for us to do when my daughter felt better. This really meant a lot to me and my daughter, that she thought about us outside of school hours and genuinely cared. Miss Rachel is someone I trust to guide my daughter successfully throughout the school year. We can't wait to enroll next year!

My son is learning so much!!

I am so impressed with Encourage me preschool. This is my second year of preschool for my son (first year with Mrs Rachel) and just after the first month of school he was practicing spelling his name and so many skills that he didn't learn the year before. Mrs Rachel makes learning fun and exciting, she's always doing fun activities that encourage the children to be creative and problem solve. She also talks about emotions and how to handle all the feelings children may have. My son is always overjoyed to go to school and always comes home and tells me everything he's learned. I've seen a huge improvement in his social skills, and so on! I couldn't recommend this preschool more!!

As an anxious first time mom, sending my sweet 4 year old to school gave me so much panic. I researched multiple schools, met with teachers and nothing felt like it was clicking. The second I met Miss Rachel I instantly clicked with her. She has a genuine love for kids and teaching, and I saw that grow through the school year. My son came home and would talk about art projects, letters and sounds he knew, his writing instantly was so much better and so much more. She's patient and kind and I would Highly recommend parents to send their preschoolers to Encourage Me Preschool!

Rachel has cared for our daughter since the beginning of this school year (Aug '20). She has treated our daughter like she's part of the family. What I love most about Rachel is how she honors and encourages our daughter's independence. Rachel understands where a child is developmentally and helps them learn and grow. We highly recommend her!

I am so happy with the care and love Rachel gives toward my children. She is patient, loving and able to see the special, individual qualities that my kids have. My oldest son has had some mild sensory and transitional trouble and she has always been understanding, compassionate and willing to change the way she does things in order to work with both his strengths and his struggles. Although I know he can be hard, I have never felt anything but love for him, from Rachel. She has a passion for educating children and comes up with creative ways to incorporate that education with creativity and fun.

I have known Rachel for several years. One of my favorite qualities about her is how she takes the time to clarify questions and explain materials to children. I have seen her apply this to her own family as well as other children entrusted in her care. Her answers and explanations are thorough and thoughtful. She often relates these back to other life experiences in which the child can relate. These responses are age-specific and tailored to each child's competency level.

Another thing that has impressed me with Rachel is how she handles disputes among children. She is really good at getting both sides of every story, even when she saw what happened. I love this because it gives the kids an opportunity to express their actions and articulate what they did and why. I think that gives children the opportunity to internalize their actions and provides a better teaching opportunity. When you can address specifically what was conveyed by the child I believe it's more meaningful and impactful.
